Stilbite & Heulandite — Natural Indian Mineral Specimen
This attractive natural mineral specimen features an intergrown Stilbite and Heulandite crystal cluster, representing a classic zeolite-group association found in the basalt-hosted mineral cavities of India. Both minerals are well known among collectors for their attractive crystal habits, pearly to vitreous luster, and naturally formed aggregate structures.
Stilbite commonly develops as delicate bladed, tabular, radiating, sheaf-like, or bow-tie aggregates, while Heulandite can form well-developed tabular to wedge-shaped crystals and attractive crystalline masses. Together they create a naturally textured specimen with subtle variations in crystal form, luster, transparency, and surface character.
The specimen measures approximately 8 × 7 × 4 cm and weighs approximately 190 grams, giving it a substantial presence for a compact collector specimen. Its natural three-dimensional crystal growth makes it suitable for a mineral cabinet, Indian zeolite collection, geological display, or collector shelf.
Natural contact areas, inclusions, minor chips, fractures, surface irregularities, and variations in crystal development are normal characteristics of a genuine natural mineral specimen.
