This natural Stilbite with Apophyllite specimen features a prominent creamy-white to pale yellow Stilbite formation surrounded by clear to translucent Apophyllite crystals. The Apophyllite crystals display well-defined faces, attractive transparency, and bright vitreous luster, while the Stilbite growth provides soft radiating textures and a contrasting pearly appearance. Natural reddish-brown mineral staining is visible within the white matrix, adding depth and character to the specimen.

Stilbite and Apophyllite commonly occur together in cavities of volcanic rocks. Stilbite typically forms radiating, fibrous, fan-shaped, or sheaf-like aggregates, while Apophyllite commonly develops as transparent to translucent prismatic or tabular crystals. These minerals form from mineral-rich hydrothermal fluids circulating through cavities and fractures in volcanic rocks.
Please Note: Natural mineral specimens may naturally contain variations in color, crystal formation, transparency, texture, inclusions, fractures, cavities, chips, luster, and matrix. Each specimen is naturally formed and may differ slightly from the photographed piece.
