Beautiful Natural Orange Calcite with White Stilbite Crystal Cluster, featuring abundant vibrant orange to golden-yellow Calcite crystals arranged in multiple dense clusters across a contrasting white to cream mineral base. The specimen has an impressive three-dimensional formation, with several prominent crystal-covered projections creating depth and a naturally sculptural appearance.
The orange Calcite crystals show attractive blocky to rhombohedral forms, with numerous smaller intergrown crystals filling the spaces between the larger growths. White Stilbite occurs as contrasting crystal aggregates around and beneath the Calcite, adding brightness and definition to the overall specimen.
The combination of golden-orange Calcite and white Stilbite is a well-documented mineral association from Maharashtra's Deccan Trap region, where cavity minerals formed through secondary mineralization within basaltic rocks. Documented Maharashtra specimens include Calcite with Stilbite from Nashik and Pune districts.
With a size of 11 × 9 × 5 cm and a weight of 180 g, this specimen has a compact yet highly dimensional form that makes it an attractive addition to a mineral cabinet, shelf display, or collector's collection.
Calcite and Stilbite are a documented mineral association in Maharashtra, India, particularly within the zeolite-bearing basalt cavities of the Deccan Trap province. Mindat records Calcite with Stilbite from localities including Pandulena Hills, Nashik , and Hadapsar, Pune .
