About this specimen

Natural Green Apophyllite with Stilbite and Heulandite – 560 g

This natural Green Apophyllite with Stilbite and Heulandite specimen features a large, richly textured formation of pale mint-green Apophyllite crystals associated with abundant cream-white and peach-toned zeolite minerals. The green Apophyllite crystals display attractive translucency, defined natural faces, and bright vitreous luster, while the surrounding Stilbite and Heulandite form dense intergrown, radiating, and tabular crystal aggregates. The combination of soft green, cream, white, and subtle peach tones creates a substantial and distinctive collector specimen.

Geological Note

Apophyllite, Stilbite and Heulandite commonly occur together in cavities and fractures of volcanic rocks. Apophyllite can form clear to pale green translucent crystals, while Stilbite commonly develops as radiating or fibrous aggregates and Heulandite forms tabular to bladed crystals. These minerals develop from mineral-rich hydrothermal fluids circulating through cavities and fractures in volcanic rocks over geological time.

Please Note: Natural mineral specimens may naturally contain variations in color, crystal formation, transparency, texture, inclusions, fractures, cavities, chips, luster, and matrix. Each specimen is naturally formed and may differ slightly from the photographed piece.
