This particular specimen features pale green Apophyllite crystals developed in association with white to cream Heulandite, creating a dense and layered crystal formation. The Apophyllite shows translucent green bodies with defined crystal faces, while the Heulandite forms the surrounding fine-grained and radiating crystalline growth. In the Deccan Trap basalt cavities of Maharashtra, mineral-rich fluids circulated through open spaces and produced successive generations of Apophyllite and zeolite-group minerals, allowing these crystals to grow together and overlap across cavity surfaces. Comparable Indian specimens document green Apophyllite associated directly with white Heulandite, with the contrasting crystal habits producing complex collector formations.
