About this specimen

This particular specimen features pale green Apophyllite crystals growing with white Stilbite and Heulandite, forming a dense natural crystal association. The translucent green Apophyllite develops distinct geometric faces, while the finer white mineral growth surrounds and supports the larger crystals. This three-mineral association is well documented from the Deccan Trap basalt cavities of Maharashtra, where mineral-rich fluids produced successive generations of Apophyllite and zeolite-group minerals. Comparable Indian specimens are specifically recorded with green Apophyllite on Heulandite and Stilbite.
