Green Fluorapophyllite-(K) with Stilbite — Natural Indian Mineral Specimen
This striking natural mineral specimen features a cluster of green Fluorapophyllite-(K), commonly sold as Green Apophyllite, associated with white Stilbite. Fluorapophyllite-(K) is a member of the Apophyllite group and is known for its vitreous to pearly luster, tetragonal crystal system, and transparent to translucent crystals that may occur in attractive pale to vivid green colors.
The specimen displays several prominent green crystals with strong geometric form, natural crystal faces, and attractive luster. The contrasting white Stilbite creates additional texture and separation around the Apophyllite crystals, producing a visually complex collector specimen. Green Fluorapophyllite-(K) with Stilbite is a well-established Indian mineral association, particularly from the basalt-hosted zeolite deposits of Maharashtra. Comparable collector specimens are documented from Pune, Nashik, and Jalgaon districts.
Measuring approximately 7 × 5 × 4 cm and weighing 110 grams, this is an excellent collector-size mineral specimen suitable for a mineral cabinet, Indian zeolite collection, or geological display.
Natural variations in crystal size, transparency, luster, inclusions, contact areas, fractures, and surface texture are part of the specimen's geological character.
