The Stilbite occurs in numerous small bladed and bow-tie-like crystal aggregates, creating a dense textured surface over the larger underlying Heulandite formation. Similar Stilbite–Heulandite associations are well documented from the Deccan Traps of Maharashtra, India, where zeolite-rich cavities allowed successive generations of crystals to grow together.
