In the Deccan Trap region of Maharashtra, Apophyllite is frequently associated with zeolite minerals and can form dense clusters of prismatic crystals with sharply developed faces and pyramidal terminations. The closely packed growth in this specimen creates a three-dimensional arrangement of overlapping crystals, with natural variations in transparency, crystal size, inclusions, contacts and surface texture reflecting its cavity-grown formation.
